CURRENT POSITION(S):

SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST

As a Software Implementation Specialist you will be responsible for providing software training and implementation services to clients on our accounting and utility billing software designed specifically for municipalities and municipal utilities.

Responsibilities

Implementation and Training Services

  • Present training programs for clients using identified learning objectives and selected instructional methodologies for specified software modules.
  • Develop an extensive working knowledge of the software suite being implemented.
  • Analyze and document client business processes.
  • Set-up and configure software to accomplish business objectives.
  • Provide project coordination, management, and project follow-up.
  • Configure systems to integrate with client’s existing environment.
  • Document all aspects of the project, including client’s workflow and processes, change management and lessons learned.
  • Provide post-training software support to clients for a period of time
  • Establish develop and maintain strong, long term and positive working relationships with team members and clients.
  • Ensure client objectives are met on-time and within budget.

Post-Implementation Support

  • Provide post-implementation technical support to client software problems.
  • Resolve software questions/issues by clarifying the client’s question, determining the issue to be resolved, selecting and explaining solutions, expedite correction or adjustment and follow-up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintain active communication to control expectations and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Assist in client advice by providing research.
  • Maintain close and active relationships with client.
  • Respect the confidential and independent nature of the client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a specialized field such as accounting, computer science, management information systems, business, mathematics or a related field highly preferred. CPA or CMA license a plus. Associate’s degree with equivalent relevant work experience may be considered.
  • Three (3) plus years of related experience. Previous training and/or client service experience, required.
  • Experience with municipal or utility operations is a plus.
  • Demonstrate analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication, and trouble shooting skills.
  • Strong technical and computer skills including highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel), required.
  • Technical experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Microsoft Access.
  • Strong ability to establish, develop and maintain strong, long term and positive working relationships with team members and clients.

SOFTWARE SUPPORT SPECIALIST

As a Software Support Specialist you will be responsible for providing software training and implementation services to clients on our accounting and utility billing software designed specifically for municipalities and municipal utilities.

Technical Support
  • Provide on-going end-user technical support to clients utilizing our  financial and utility billing software.
  • Develop an extensive working knowledge of the software suite being supported.
  • Troubleshoot issues reported by customers and provide solutions.
  • Resolve software questions/issues by clarifying the client’s question, determining the issue to be resolved, selecting and explaining solutions, expedite correction or adjustment and follow-up to ensure resolution.
  • Coordinate client activities to provide quality services.
  • Maintain active communication to control expectations and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Assist in client advice by providing research.
  • Ability to establish, develop and maintain strong, long term and positive working relationships with team members and clients.
  • Address client issues.
  • Respect the confidential and independent nature of the client relationships.
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in a specialized field such as accounting, computer science, management information systems, business or a related field. CPA or CMA license a plus. Associate’s degree with equivalent relevant work experience may be considered.
  • Experience with or knowledge of accounting or the utility billing process is a plus.
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrate analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication, and trouble shooting skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally by phone and email.
  • Highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required.
  • Technical experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Microsoft Access.
